N° 01 In his own words

N° 02 How the camp was born

From Aglou
to Taghazout.

The story of Zeri Surf Camp began in 2006, on the Moroccan coast of Aglou · long before surfing became popular in Morocco. It was there that Zeri fell in love with the surf lifestyle. Surfing wasn’t just a sport · it was the path to the life he had always dreamed of.

He started small, offering surf experiences in his hometown, and soon realised something bigger was calling: Taghazout, the heart of Moroccan surf culture.

The dream of a surf camp really took shape as Zeri set out in search of new waves and deeper meaning. The connection to the ocean was instant, a vision built on saltwater, community and a shared way of life.

He set out to create something different: not just another surf camp in Taghazout, but a soulful Moroccan surf retreat where health, focus and community come first. That’s how Zeri Surf Camp Morocco was born.

“For us, this is more than a project. It’s our life, our vocation, our dream.”

N° 03 What we believe

Four
rules.

RULE 01

The wave picks the day.

If the swell's gone north, we go north. If the wind's coming up at 11, we surf at 9. We work for the ocean, not the schedule.

RULE 02

Local first.

Rooted in the village above Taghazout. Fish from the harbour, bread from the bakery 200m away, rugs from the souk down the road.

RULE 03

Small groups, big improvements.

Small groups in the water. You get more waves, more attention, more progress per session. That's it, no secret.

RULE 04

Respect the lineup.

We share waves. We pick up trash. We don't drop in. We say hi to the local surfers · they're our friends. We expect the same from our guests.

Come surf
with us.
